Today is a very happy & sad day. At the end of Proton the patients get to ring the bell to celebrate the end of PBT in Germany.
I am very happy that I can now go home but sad because I will miss all the fantastic doctors & nurses here in Essen.

This is Dr. Tippelt who was my oncologist in Essen & the nurse who flushed my line every week.
After saying our goodbyes it was time to celebrate with pizza & ice-cream!!!!!
